Symposium with Workshop
Coupled thermal and evolved gas analysis has become one of the most widely accepted methods for material characterization. This applies in particular to the combination of FTIR and MS with thermogravimetry (TG). Application lectures from internationally recognized experts in many different research areas will be held. In addition there will be workshops and experimental sessions with functioning TG/STA-MS-FTIR instruments in order to familiarize the participants with the practical aspects of the basic methods. Emphasis will be placed on many different application areas as well as the importance of the technique for material research and quality control.

You are cordially invited to participate in the 5th SKT 2003. The language of the symposium will be English. The contributions will be published in form of a proceedings booklet containing the manuscripts.

Poster Session
Posters will be displayed during the entire Symposium. The aim of the posters is to present topics which are not covered by the lecturers as well as to illustrate technical solutions utilizing gas analytical methods.
